Mary Morgan Whitfield

    Partner

Ms. Whitfield practices family law in Mississippi and Tennessee, which she has been
doing since she graduated from law school in 2005. Ms. Whitfield customarily handles cases involving divorce, child custody, child support establishment and modification, paternity determinations and prenuptial agreements. She also represents clients in step-parent adoptions, contested adoptions, and contested conservatorship actions.

For all cases, Ms. Whitfield’s goal is zealous advocacy in representing her client’s interests while also aiming for resolution of the case, either by settlement or trial. Attending mediation with her clients occurs commonly for Ms. Whitfield, but when settlements cannot occur, Ms. Whitfield litigates with the ferocity and thoroughness
needed to obtain successful rulings for her clients.
