With 20 years of legal experience, Jacinta started her career clerking with the Chief Judge of the Mississippi Court of Appeals for (now) Justice Leslie D. King. She served as an Assistant Public Defender in both the Hinds County (Jackson, MS) and Shelby County (Memphis, TN) Public Defender Offices, earning a strong reputation for her fierce advocacy. Jacinta continued to fine tuning her advocacy as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Mississippi. In 2021, Jacinta’s life shifted when her father was diagnosed with a debilitating disease. A separate, second diagnosis in January reminded Jacinta that time was of the essence, and guided her and her family to get their family business and estates in order. Jacinta relocated to DeSoto County, MS, with that change in mind. Taking from her personal experiences, Jacinta began to focus on estate planning and probate/trust administration to help other families prepare for the unavoidable.

 

Named a Leader in Law by the Mississippi Business Journal, Jacinta owns and operates The J.A. Hall Law Firm, PLLC in Olive Branch, MS, where she continues to achieve remarkable results for her clients. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mississippi School of Law.
